What to Expect in the Final Exam

The official Washington CNA NNAAP final examination is not a single test but a two-part evaluation consisting of a Written (or Oral) Examination and a Skills Evaluation. Candidates must pass both components to be eligible for placement on the Washington State Nurse Aide Registry.

The Written Examination typically consists of 70 multiple-choice questions administered via computer. You will generally have two hours (120 minutes) to complete this portion. The questions are based on the common domains of practice mentioned in the training syllabus.
