Copyright and DMCA Policy

Welcome to Quizzprep. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This page outlines our copyright policies, our Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown procedures, and important disclaimers regarding the nature of our educational services.

1. Notice Regarding the Nature of Our Services (Important Disclaimer)

To our users, payment processors, and official testing agencies: Quizzprep is an educational platform dedicated to helping students and professionals prepare for various standardized tests and certifications.

  • Practice Materials Only: All quizzes, tests, and study materials provided on Quizzprep are  independently created practice materials.
  • No Original Exams: We do not host, distribute, sell, or condone the use of actual, original, or compromised official exam questions (often referred to as "brain dumps"). Our materials are designed to simulate the style, format, and difficulty of official exams to aid in studying, but they are entirely original works authored by our educators and subject matter experts.
  • No Affiliation: Quizzprep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any official testing organization, certification board, or trademark owner. Any use of official exam names, acronyms, or trademarks on our platform is strictly for identification and descriptive purposes only under the doctrine of Fair Use.

2. Quizzprep Intellectual Property Rights

All original content created by Quizzprep—including but not limited to practice questions, explanations, study guides, software code, site design, text, and graphics—is the exclusive property of Quizzprep and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Users are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our materials for personal study and test preparation. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Quizzprep original content without our express written consent.

3. DMCA Notice and Takedown Procedure

Quizzprep complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof, and you believe that any content hosted on Quizzprep infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (17 U.S.C § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works on the Quizzprep site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., specific URLs).
  4. Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  5. Statement of Good Faith: A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. Statement of Accuracy: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Note: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

4. DMCA Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that content you posted on Quizzprep was removed (or to which access was disabled) in error, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner to post the content, you may send a counter-notice containing the following information to our Designated Copyright Agent:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the content.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your jurisdiction, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of the alleged infringement.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Quizzprep will promptly forward it to the original complaining party. If the original complaining party does not file a court order seeking to keep the content down within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our sole discretion.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Quizzprep has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at Quizzprep’s sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Quizzprep may also at its sole discretion limit access to the platform and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
