 What to Expect in the Final Exam

The final MBLEx is a theory-based, computer-administered exam. You should not expect a practical demonstration component on this specific test.

• Format: It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.
• Time Limit: You are allotted a total of 120 minutes (2 hours). A small portion of this (about 5-10 minutes) is for a tutorial and an exit survey, leaving approximately 110 minutes for the 100 questions.
• Score Requirements: The MBLEx uses a scaled scoring system. The passing score is 625 on a scale from 300 to 900.
• Adaptive Testing: It is crucial to note that the MBLEx is often administered as a Computerized Adaptive Test (CAT). This means the difficulty of questions changes based on whether you answer the previous question correctly. You cannot skip questions or go back to change answers.
