What to Expect in the Final Exam

Crucially, the CPC exam is an open-book format. Test-takers are required to bring and utilize their physical copies of the approved coding manuals: CPT (Current Procedural Terminology, latest edition), ICD-10-CM (latest edition), and HCPCS Level II (latest edition). However, candidates cannot bring other study materials, summaries, or handwritten notes not allowed by AAPC's official policy.

A passing score on the CPC exam is 70% or higher.
