Alberta Written Drivers Learners Test Practice

Having a fully licensed driver accompanying you while driving with a Class 7 learner's permit is a crucial requirement. This licensed driver must be someone who is at least 18 years old and has a valid driver's license, which assures that they have the necessary experience and knowledge to guide you through the driving process. Their role is to provide support, direction, and immediate assistance, especially in situations where the learner might feel uncertain or encounter potential hazards on the road. Driving alone is not permitted for learners as it poses risks not only to the learner but also to other road users. For a friend or a family member under the age requirement, they may not have the necessary experience or maturity to provide valuable support during practice driving sessions, which is essential for a learner developing their driving skills.
