Transportation Security Officer (TSO) Certification Exam

A pat-down must be conducted by two TSOs, one of each gender. The pat-down is conducted by an officer of the same gender as the passenger purports themselves to be. The passenger must present identification verifying their gender before the pat-down. Pat-downs in such cases are only conducted by a lead or supervisory TSO.
