If someone has mobility issues or needs assistance, provide help so they also reach a safe location. Once outside, proceed to the established assembly point and take a headcount or check in with a supervisor to account for all persons. Do not re-enter the building until a clear, authoritative “all clear” is given by the fire department or incident commander.
