Alberta Written Drivers Learners Test Practice

A Class 5 license permits the holder to operate a regular passenger vehicle without restrictions, meaning they can drive independently at any time of day. This type of license is typically required for individuals who have completed their basic driver training and passed the necessary tests to demonstrate their ability to drive safely on public roads. The other options highlight limitations that a Class 5 license does not impose. For instance, driving only during daylight hours would restrict a driver’s ability to travel at night, which is not a requirement for holders of a Class 5 license. Similarly, stating that one can only drive certain types of vehicles, such as not allowing trucks, does not reflect the versatility granted by a Class 5 license, which covers regular passenger vehicles. Lastly, driving only with a supervisor would be indicative of a beginner or learner's permit, not a full-fledged Class 5 license, which allows for solo driving.
