Ethics And Privacy Concerns Practice Test

The principle that emphasizes fairness in distributing rewards based on productivity is indeed the Principle of Distributive Justice. This principle asserts that resources and benefits in a society or organization should be distributed fairly, taking into consideration the contributions and productivity of individuals. It aligns with the idea that those who contribute more or perform better should receive commensurate rewards, ensuring equitable treatment and recognition of effort and results. Distributive Justice focuses on the ethical distribution of resources and holds that fairness should be a guiding factor in how rewards, whether they are financial, social, or otherwise, are allocated among members of a community or organization. This principle is particularly applicable in workplace settings, where performance-related pay or recognition programs are often justified under its tenets. In contrast, the other principles outlined, such as Transparency, Beneficence, and Non-maleficence, address different ethical concerns. Transparency pertains to openness and honesty in communications and processes, Beneficence focuses on actions that promote the well-being of others, and Non-maleficence refers to the obligation to avoid harm to others. While these principles are important in ethical discussions, they do not specifically address the equitable distribution of rewards based on individual contributions.
