Technical Standards And Safety Authority (TSSA) G3 Practice Exam

The correct answer is associated with the conversion of inches of water column (w.c.) to pounds per square inch (psig). A reading of 7.0" w.c. can be converted as follows: 1 inch of water column (w.c.) is equivalent to approximately 0./send the equivalent pressure value in psi. Therefore, to find the pressure in psi for a reading of 7.0" w.c., you would multiply by the conversion factor: 7.0" w.c. × 0.0361 psig/inch w.c. = 0.2527 psig. This value is approximately 1/4 psig, which is equal to 1.72 kPa (kiloPascals). When looking at the options provided, this matches the conversion result to provide the most accurate representation of the pressure reading. Understanding these conversions is essential for accurately assessing and managing gas pressure in various applications related to the TSSA guidelines. This knowledge allows for safe operation and compliance with safety standards in gas-related installations and systems.
