Architectural Engineering Test 1 Practice

LEED was developed by which organization?

International Code Council U.S. Green Building Council American Institute of Architects National Association of Home Builders

Correct Answer:

U.S. Green Building Council

Explanation:

LEED was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. This nonprofit organization created LEED to provide a framework for evaluating and promoting the environmental performance of buildings throughout design, construction, and operation. The other groups—an organization that develops building codes, a professional architectural association, and a home builders association—play different roles and did not originate LEED.
