The technique that involves pulling in three or more small areas against hair growth typically refers to the method utilized in soft wax treatment. In this process, a thin layer of soft wax is applied in the direction of hair growth, and then a cloth or paper strip is placed over the wax. Once the wax cools and adheres, the strip is pulled away quickly against the direction of hair growth, effectively removing the hair. This method is popular for larger areas of the body where the wax can easily cover more surface area and allows for the removal of multiple hairs at once swiftly. In soft wax treatment, the process may involve several quick pulls across different small areas, which aligns with the description of pulling in multiple areas. This technique is favored for its efficiency and SAMPLEability to remove fine hairs, making it a common choice in esthetic practices.
