Using paraffin wax in treatments provides deep hydration and relaxation, making it particularly beneficial for enhancing the overall skincare experience. The warm wax helps to open up the pores, allowing for better absorption of moisture into the skin. When the wax is applied, it creates a barrier that traps the heat, which in turn increases blood flow and promotes relaxation of the underlying muscles. This soothing heat also aids in relieving pain and stiffness in joints, making it popular in treatments for hands and feet, especially in procedures for clients with arthritis or similar conditions. The other options mention benefits that can occur with treatments but are not the primary reasons for paraffin wax use. While it can help in hydration and may provide some protection, the combination of deep moisture and a calming effect is what truly sets paraffin wax apart in various aesthetical and therapeutic applications.
