Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments (MEGA) Counselor Practice Exam

The correct choice is career resource materials, as counselors play a key role in helping students with their academic and career planning. They provide various types of resources that enable students to explore different career options, understand the job market, and prepare for future employment. These materials may include information about colleges, trade schools, internships, job search strategies, and other essential resources that support students' career development. Classroom textbooks, while important for educational purposes, are typically managed by teachers and not the counselor. School meal programs pertain more to administrative or nutritional services rather than counseling responsibilities. Extracurricular activity schedules are generally distributed by activity coordinators or school administration, rather than counselors, who focus more on SAMPLEacademic and emotional support for students.
