W2 Team Mega Ballers FC1 Practice Test

The typical patient configuration for the UH-60 Blackhawk is four litter patients and one ambulatory patient. This configuration is designed to maximize the effectiveness of the aircraft for medical evacuation missions while still ensuring optimal use of space and resources available inside the aircraft. The placement of four litter patients allows for the secure transport of critically injured individuals who require stabilization and monitoring during transit. The inclusion of one ambulatory patient accommodates a non-critical patient who is able to sit up unassisted and can help with their own care or assist the medical staff if necessary. This configuration strikes a balance between the need to transport multiple patients while still catering to the unique conditions of air medical transport. The design of the Blackhawk facilitates this arrangement through specialized equipment such as litters, securing systems, and space management that prioritize both patient safety and ease of access for medical personnel.
