Read the following Italian excerpt on sustainable tourism: «Negli ultimi anni, il Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre ha registrato un afflusso turistico senza precedenti. Sebbene l'economia locale ne abbia tratto notevoli benefici, l'impatto ambientale e la pressione sulle infrastrutture storiche sollevano crescenti preoccupazioni. What is the main concern regarding tourism in the Cinque Terre National Park according to the text?

Environmental damage and excessive pressure on historic infrastructure caused by high tourist volume. A sharp decrease in local economic revenue from traditional fishing and agriculture. The complete closure of all coastal walking trails throughout the entire calendar year. A lack of interest from international tourists during peak summer months.

Correct Answer:

Environmental damage and excessive pressure on historic infrastructure caused by high tourist volume.
